As a Shop Foreman, you will work directly with our technicians and our customers to make sure they are satisfied.
As a foreman, you should be able to:
- Train (new) employees and explain how to complete tasks.
- Make work schedules and update workers about schedule changes, trainings and deadlines.
- Supervise workers, offer assistance as needed.
- Complete/create/review; work orders, invoices, employee records, time sheets, perform quality checks, etc.
- Review projects and work orders.
- Perform labor on machines.
- Discuss work orders with customers and accept payments.
- Maintain all of the shop equipment.
- Schedule technicians.
- Taking customer calls,
- Organizing work with customers.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership skills.
- Team player.
- Over 5 years of experience as an agricultural mechanic.
- Journeyman; heavy duty mechanic or Agricultural.
- Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine solutions.
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary - No nine-to-five mentality
- Willing to learn
- Clear communication.
- Have fluent computer skills with the ability to adapt and understand various computer programs and software.
- Valid drivers license.
