Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to assist in the rehabilitation of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Duties
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and functional activities.
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting patient information.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medical terminology.
- Experience in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred but not required.
