Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Spa Receptionist to be the friendly face of our spa. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide outstanding customer service, and ensure a smooth flow of appointments and inquiries. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a memorable experience for every guest while supporting our team in delivering top-quality spa services.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments efficiently using our booking system and confirm bookings with clients
- Answer phone calls promptly with professional phone etiquette; address inquiries about services, products, and promotions
- Manage client records accurately, including updating personal information and service history
- Handle cash transactions, process payments through POS (Point of Sale) systems, and perform cash handling duties responsibly
- Promote spa packages, retail products, and special offers to upsell services and enhance client experience
- Maintain a tidy reception area, organize promotional materials, and support merchandising efforts
Qualifications
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve our diverse clientele effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and excellent phone etiquette
- Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
- Organizational skills to manage appointments and client records efficiently
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of technology sales or product demos is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning about spa products is essential
