As a Studio Dresser, you will contribute to Laura’s success by playing a pivotal role in the visual presentation and efficiency of our daily eCommerce photography shoots. You will work closely with the Stylist Liaison and dress each model based on the outfits and direction provided. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of our brand and target customer, and the ability to work closely with our styling and production teams to meet daily shoot quotas.
How will you support the team?
- Manage the daily eCommerce shoot rack; assign looks by model, fit size and shoot day; steam and prep each item to be ready for the day of shoot.
- Plan out the sequence of outfits each day for optimal efficiency and daily output.
- Support and engage in the styling workflow (sample and outfit organization, data entry and scanning products, provide in-seam information, re-tagging samples, following styling document prepared by Stylist Liaison).
- Ensure all on-figure imagery showcases best fit, looks flattering and is styled with the end user in mind.
- Ensure that the outfit tags are scanned and uploaded in the software to document the outfits.
- Foster relationships with cross-functional teams and partners.
- Occasional placement support needed with off-figure e-commerce and content photography.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the brand purpose, stay up to date on eCommerce industry trends and other retail brands as they pertain to the brand’s competitive landscape.
