Hours: Continent Rotation (08:00-20:00 – 20:00-08:00)
Overtime Method: Ontario Averaging Agreement (AA) After 88 HoursPay Rate: $19.13/hourly

Job Responsibilities:
-
Maintain a professional, visible, and alert security presence
-
Greet, assist, and direct visitors courteously
-
Ensure the safety and security of clients, staff, and property
-
Conduct proactive and reactive patrols (interior/exterior)
-
Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
-
Complete detailed reports and investigations of incidents
-
Monitor patients and enforce hospital policies and by-laws
-
Manage access control, keys, and perform safety inspections
-
Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently
-
Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
-
Valid Security License for Ontario
-
Valid G Class driver’s licence and reliable vehicle required
-
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)

Proof of (minimum) double COVID-19 vaccination
-
A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)

Minimum 6 months security experience, healthcare security experience an asset

Must be able to commute to Kingston for pre-deployment training

Must be able to site train at all four QHC facilities (Belleville, Trenton, Picton, Bancroft)

Must be able to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
-
Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
-
Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite, however Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6 month commitment to the position/availability
