Our Montreal team is looking for a permanent part-time Payroll Accounting Technician with extensive payroll experience to join the Small Business Services group and own the following responsibilities:
Process payroll and calculations
Bookkeeping for various clients including cash receipts, cash disbursements, bank reconciliations, GST/HST/QST/DAS reports
Assist with special mandates (for example, payroll audits, governments audits, set-up of accounting systems)
Assist with the preparation of annual tax slips (T4, T5, etc.)
Answer government inquiries related to various assessments received by clients
Provide support to clients while implementing their accounting systems and answer questions regarding various bookkeeping issues

Y our experience and education
You have extensive payroll knowledge. (3 years of experience or more, and preferably holding a payroll designation)
You are familiar with processing payroll with various service providers. (ADP, Ceridian, Desjardins, Nethris, etc.)
You have excellent accounting skills and knowledge of various accounting software. (SAGE 50, QuickBooks and others)
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
You have excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
You have the ability to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks, as required, and work with a minimum of supervision.
