Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, dedicated and hardworking General Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support the overall operations of our projects. This role requires strong work ethics, physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. As a General Skilled Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the work sites are organized and efficient.
Duties
- Follow blueprints and technical schematics to measure, cut and assemble building materials to exact specifications.
- Assist with specific building techniques, including carpentry, masonry and installing fixtures.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying and moving materials as needed.
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and collaborate with the team members to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while on job site.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors immediately
Skills
- Demonstrated hands-on construction experience
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong physical stamina and an ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various task
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities and needed
- Attention to detail with focus on safety processes at all times
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
