Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Co-ordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will manage clinical operations, coordinate patient flow, and support medical staff to ensure smooth clinic functioning. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with electronic medical records, and familiarity with dental and medical office procedures. The Clinical Co-ordinator will serve as a vital link between patients, clinical staff, and administrative teams to deliver exceptional patient care and efficient office management.
Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments using Abeldent and MaxAssist.
- Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting patients and handling inquiries via multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks including billing, insurance verification, and data entry.
- Oversee patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring a seamless patient experience.
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers regarding appointment reminders or follow-up instructions.
- Ensure the clinic adheres to safety protocols and maintains a clean, organized environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental or medical office setting, preferably as a Dental Receptionist or in an administrative role within a healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with Abeldent is preferred but can be trained for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology.
- Experience with office management tasks including multi-line phone systems, appointment scheduling, and front desk operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, clinical staff, and external providers.
- Prior experience in handling administrative duties within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
