Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and meal assembly. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals according to recipes
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and following established procedures
- Ensure food handling practices comply with safety regulations to prevent contamination
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
- Assist with restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as needed
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food preparation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds as needed
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends if required

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
