Job Title: Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst

Our client is actively looking for a
Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze retail automotive credit applications within established turnaround times.
- Make sound, quality credit decisions using strong critical thinking, judgment, and discipline.
- Maintain internal control standards, manage company risk, and conduct appropriate due diligence when making credit decisions.
- Provide recommendations to the Supervisor on credit applications that exceed established lending limits.
- Provide guidance and instruction to Credit Investigators as required.
- Maintain consistent communication, direction, and support with dealership personnel regarding credit offerings.
- Take a consultative sales approach by identifying opportunities to grow the business portfolio and finding creative, non-traditional ways to structure and approve deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealership partners through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Credit Analyst, Lender, or similar role within an automotive retail credit environment, with additional collections experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Business or Commerce preferred.
- Bilingual in English and French is required.
- Proven ability to succeed in a challenging, team-oriented, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proactive, innovative, and accountable with a strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to build strong dealer relationships through a proactive and consultative sales approach.
- Strong influencing and persuasion skills, with the confidence to negotiate and make informed credit decisions.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and fraud detection tools/processes (e.g., Luminate).
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST, including Saturdays and holidays
