Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have creative pastry and cake decorating skills as well as a strong background in croissant dough, puff pastry and sweet doughs.
Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established and created recipes
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets our high standards.
- Assist in the preparation of other baked goods as needed, contributing to the overall menu offerings.
- Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with guests when necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques specific to baking and pastry creation.
- Experience in cake decorating, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within a kitchen environment.
