Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Marine Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their marine service experience. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and sales ability to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business success.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate services or repairs.
- Provide clear explanations of services, costs, and timelines to customers.
- Manage service appointments and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Upsell additional services or products based on customer needs and vessel condition.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Experience in cash handling and financial transactions.
- Knowledge of marine repair processes and mechanical systems.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
- Previous experience in sales or dealership environments is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.

Pay: $58,240.00-$79,040.00 per year
