We are looking for a responsible, independent, and dedicated Full-Time Farm Worker to join our small animal rescue farm team.
Our farm has a friendly, close-knit atmosphere where we value not only good work, but also kindness, patience, compassion, and building a genuine connection with the animals.
Because we are a rescue farm, many of the animals have their own stories and individual needs, so a caring and respectful approach is especially important.
Duties include:
* Cleaning and maintaining animal stalls and living areas
* Field and general farm maintenance
* Feeding and caring for the animals
* Monitoring animals and noticing changes in their behaviour or condition
* Building trust and a positive relationship with the animals
* Helping with hay deliveries and other farm tasks
* Being available when emergencies arise
Schedule:
4 days per week
* 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
* 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Additional availability is required for hay delivery days and emergencies.
Requirements:
* Responsible, reliable, and punctual
* Able to work independently and take initiative
* Hard-working and dedicated
* Comfortable with physical farm work and working outdoors in different weather conditions
* Patient, compassionate, and respectful toward animals
* A sober and responsible lifestyle is required, as the safety and well-being of the animals depend on having a reliable team member who is fully present and dependable.
Starting wage: $20/hour
