Who you are
An exciting leadership opportunity, you will be a true business partner to the President & CEO | Canada, working closely with the CEO and Canadian Senior Leadership Team t o develop and enact the strategic direction for key business activities across Canada . You will be responsible for driving cross functional projects and transformation initiatives , developing strategies and analyses for new business/growth opportunities, and driving profitability enhancement through strong commercial acumen .
This role has a large financial component, and will need to understand the short and long-term financial implications of all business decisions and initiatives . You will lead all finance decisions with support from the Director, Finance | Canada and team. You will be a highly visible stakeholder within the company, working alongside all leaders across the organization, with connectivity across the globe. This role has an upward trajectory into other leadership positions.
What you bring
10+ years of experience in business strategy, operations, management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other relevant areas that combine operations and finance.
Experience leading large, complex, strategic projects with multiple partners and a proven track record of success.
Excellent relationship builder; strong executive presence and presentation skills.
Ability to “get things done”, working through resistance and uncertainty to drive projects to completion.
Strong ability to manage through influence.
Bonus skills and experience
MBA or accounting designations are preferred.
Commercial Real Estate experience is considered an asset.
Management Consulting or Corporate Strategy or other similar experience preferred.
