Job Summary
At Revolution Ford, High Prairie, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Consultant - Automotive to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will excel in outside sales, possess strong negotiation skills, and have experience in B2B sales within the automotive industry. This role involves building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, engaging with clients, and providing exceptional customer service to drive sales growth. The Sales Consultant will play a key role in promoting our vehicles, upselling accessories, and supporting dealership marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets.
Duties
- Ensure customer satisfaction by building ongoing relationships with customer base, resolving customer issues related to the dealership. Make customer call-backs to ensure the highest possible closing ratio for the store.
- Assist in completing sales transactions for the sale of new and used vehicles - balancing the needs of customers and the dealership.
- Ensure that all purchase agreements, bills of sale, finance contracts, lease agreements, applications for registration and all other documents necessary for the sale and lease of vehicles are completed accurately and in full compliance with Revolution Auto Group policies and local laws.
- Oversee bills of sales and products available for sale.
- Oversee coordination of inventory available for sale and cleanliness of vehicles on display with pricing etc.
- Participate in sales team meetings and initiatives to achieve monthly volume and gross profit targets.
- Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads through outside sales efforts and maintain existing client relationships.
- Create and maintain a team environment throughout the dealership, promoting a culture of cooperation and collaboration with a responsibility to achieve common goals and objectives for the dealership.
- Participate in dealership specific sales and marketing programs and events.
- Engage in negotiation to close deals effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales pipeline, tracking prospects, follow-ups, and closing stages using CRM tools.
- Assist customers with selecting vehicles, financing options, and upselling additional products such as accessories or service packages (upselling).
- Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure smooth transaction processes from initial contact to delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly via phone or in person, demonstrating professional
- W*ork closely with management on achieving sales goals and improving overall dealership performance.*
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within the automotive industry or related fields such as dealership experience.
- Strong background in outside sales, with the ability to develop new business opportunities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
- Broad product knowledge base including off-makes
- Knowledge of social media techniques
- Computer Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
