Duties
- Work in a refrigerated environment (0–4 °C) to receive, inspect, and prepare beef for daily restaurant operations.
- Check beef deliveries for quality, freshness, correct labelling, and temperature compliance before storage.
- Grind, and portion beef according to restaurant recipes and portion standards.
- Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices, including proper handling, cross-contamination prevention, and sanitation of tools and surfaces.
- Label, date, and store prepared beef products following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory procedures.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, cutting boards, knives, trays, and preparation equipment before and after use.
- Regularly clean and organize the refrigerator, storage racks, and containers to maintain a hygienic environment.
- Dispose of waste, packaging materials, and meat scraps according to sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Ensure the preparation and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards while working in cold conditions.

Job Requirements:
- Previous experience working in refrigerated environment is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Able to work in the morning shifts.
- Able to on weekend and holidays.
- Non-slip shoes, jeans, black T-Shirt and black baseball hat.
- Safe Food Handling Certification preferred.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
