Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part time Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role involves supporting the efficient operation of our distribution center through various tasks including order picking, shipping, receiving, inventory and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and possess the skills necessary to handle 25kg lifting and forklift operation. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are important.
Duties
- Perform order picking using warehouse management systems and order picker equipment.
- Load and unload shipments utilizing forklifts, or power pallet jack.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Support warehouse organization by moving products efficiently across our racking locations.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to the overall safety of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is highly desirable. All products are in rack locations.
- Ability to perform routine lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Experience with shipping & receiving procedures and order picking processes.
- Strong attention to safety procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
