OPPORTUNITY: SKILLED RENOVATOR / CARPENTER – RESIDENTIAL RENOVATIONS
Doering Design and Build Ltd. is a home renovation company located in Toronto, specializing in high-end, full home renovations and additions. Our team is expanding due to our growing list of projects and we are currently looking for a Skilled Renovator / Carpenter.
We are seeking a permanent full-time employee who is a motivated, flexible self-starter who wants to grow with our company. We have a wide range of home renovation and addition projects across the GTA.
The Skilled Renovator / Carpenter must be well organized, reliable, punctual, hardworking, self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to work on a flexible schedule.
Skills and Attributes
- Experience in the home renovation or construction industry
- Experience with carpentry, demolition, drywall, flooring etc preferred
- Reliable, hardworking, self motivated
- Excellent communication skills with team members, clients and tradespeople
- Motivated team player, extremely organized, positive, reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Wages based on experience
- Attention to detail
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Valid drivers license. Own transportation required
- Able to be insured for Company Van
Requirements
· Must speak, write and understand English fluently
· Must be in good physical condition and take safety precautions when onsite
· G Drivers licence and own vehicle
· Able to be insured for company van
· Willingness to drive to multiple sites as required throughout the GTA
· Criminal background check
· Able to be insured for company van
· Must live in Toronto
Compensation Package
· $25 to $35 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
· Gas allowance
· Company credit card

· 8 hour shift
· Monday to Friday
· On call
· Weekends as needed
