Job overview:
Are you a creative, motivated student looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing? FreshFind is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team! As a Marketing Intern, you'll play a key role in driving our growth by connecting with small food businesses, creating engaging content, and helping us promote our easy-to-use platform. You’ll gain valuable experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, and content creation, all while helping small food makers thrive.
Your primary mission is to craft engaging video content that connects with our audience and encapsulates our organization's values, mission, and industry niche. We'll ensure you're well-informed about our core principles. Your videos will be paramount in amplifying our brand's voice across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Connect with local food-business owners and assist them in sharing their journey, as well as tips and tricks, to help increase the chances of success for new entrepreneurs
- Develop compelling short video clips tailored for social media outreach.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with email marketing campaigns and promotional materials.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions, and create video content for our website, blog, or sales/marketing materials when required.
- Conduct research to stay updated with trending video content in our sector.
- Analyze successful video campaigns, especially within our industry, for inspiration and innovation.
- Identify the best platforms and media channels to maximize the impact of our video content.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled currently in a postsecondary program in business, marketing, media, design, art, film, or communication related discipline
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing, including proficiency in social media, content creation, email marketing, advertising, and e-commerce platforms
- Interest and skill with video creation and video editing.
- Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera.
- Experience in storytelling through visual media.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles, especially as they pertain to video content.
- Familiarity with social media trends and platforms.
- Collaborative spirit, especially when working with marketing and content teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of Capcut, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related tools for video creation purposes is a plus
- Familiarity with analytics tools is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
