Position Summary:
The Company is currently searching for a motivated team player to join the exciting, fast-growing company. You will be working in a team-based environment to support physicians in delivering excellent patient care. If you love helping people, this job is for you.
What you will be doing:
Courteous and effective direct patient care, ensuring efficient use of space and time.

Answering phone and responding to other forms of correspondence

Preparation of correspondence on behalf of medical professionals and the clinic such as letters, appointment confirmations, pharmacy communications, lab materials

Patient care including check in, procedural explanation only as directed by physician.

Tracking and timely completion of tasks assigned by physician using software, written notes, and verbal communication.

Billing and insurance documentation and preparation

Appointment confirmation at a minimum standard of two business days in advance

Responsibility for transport of tissue and fluid laboratory analysis samples

Scheduling and confirmation of appointments to maximize clinic efficiency.

Monthly ordering of supplies and inventory maintenance/administration
-
Administrative processes including billing, insurance documentation, and other administrative tasks as required.

Maintenance of medical inventory through supply and equipment ordering and inventory responsibility

Transitioning paper records to digital formats through data entry and updating patient records

Maintaining a positive and efficient work environment

Coverage at various desks and pods as needed.

High school diploma or the equivalent

Ability to work varying shift patterns as needed by the clinic (including evenings and weekends)

Experience as an MOA or MOA programs certification is an asset.

Experience with EMR system OSCAR and a good understanding of MSP billing are assets.
Salary Range: $17.00 - $23.00 CAD per hour
The wage offered for this position falls within a specified range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific needs of the organization.
