Cultivar Foods, a growing distribution company with 17 years of commitment to sourcing Organic and Natural products, We are currently seeking an energetic, self-driven individual to join our Sales Team.
Responsibilities
- Actively Promote our products with retailers
- Maintain, identify, and develop accounts relationships with Organic and Natural Food Stores and independent groceries stores in your assigned territory
- Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
- Servicing existing accounts (promotes/sells/obtains orders), and establishes, develops new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule through a relationship-based approach.
- Educate clients on products, prices, policies, and profitable business practices.
- Maintain constant communication with clients to improve on existing relationships and
quickly resolve concerns.
- Constantly seek to meet and exceed sales targets.
. Ability to review sales reports, analyze the data, and take appropriate actions to drive performance and meet targets.
- Participate in developing new marketing and sales strategies.
- Identify trends in the market and stay informed of competitor’s offerings and strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Provide market knowledge to head office with respect to needs and trends in the grocery industry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or related field
- Strong ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM software is a plus - Knowledge of Excel is required to analyze sales date effectively - Deliver exceptional Customer service, meeting sales goals, closing skills, prospecting skills, negotiation, self-confidence, product knowledge, presentation skills, motivation for sales, demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving, ability to determine solutions for customers - Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment - Must possess verbal and written communication skills in English - Interest in health food products is a plus
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of outside sales experience.
- Professional; strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required to manage sales-related documentation and support day-to-day sales operations.
- Possesses a valid Ontario Driver’s License and own car.
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; a strong negotiator.
- Highly energetic, agile, well organized and detail oriented, with proven ability to manage multiply priorities in a fast- paced environment.
- Strong self - management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
