Ultrafast Optics and Nanophotonics (Electrical and Computer Engineering)
We are currently seeking one post-doctoral fellow to join our team. The position is focused on the development of high precision ophthalmic surgery instrument based on femtosecond laser pulse technology. The research includes development of cutting-edge ophthalmic imaging and tracking device and targeting and delivery of ultrashort laser pulses.
The ideal candidate is expected to have a PhD degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, engineering physics.
Previous work / research experience with lasers, optical design, biomedical engineering, nanotechnology, and programming is preferred. Priority will be given to candidates with proven records of development of ophthalmic imaging devices. In addition, excellent writing and verbal communication skills will be highly valued in the application review process.

Femtosecond laser-tissue interaction for novel medical therapies
Ultrafast laser-tissue interaction for novel medical diagnostics and imaging
Development of medical device prototypes for clinical applications
Femtosecond Laser pulse cell nanosurgery
Nano-Plasmonics for biomedical applications
Experience working with optics, photonics and lasers (ZEMAX).
Strong hand-on skills LabView / C++ programming experience.
Circuit design experience (Eagle / Altium).
Mechanical engineering design (SolidWorks).
