The Loyalty & Consumer Insights team at Loblaw Companies Ltd. is responsible for stewarding one of Canada’s strongest and most valuable loyalty programs: PC Optimum. We are hiring an Director, Enterprise Consumer Insights with background in data analytics. Reporting to the Senior Director Enterprise Consumer Insights, the Director is responsible for key large scale and complex business initiatives, providing analytical leadership and supporting customer insights enterprise wide across all banners of Loblaw Company Ltd.

What You'll Do:
Provide guidance and strategic recommendations to senior management to address specific business problems with focus on the customer
Perform sensitivity & financial impact analyses to monitor and evaluate the financial performance
Synthesize large amounts of complex data from multiple sources, extrapolate appropriate information and develop simple and easy-to-understand explanations of business results
Identify and discover revenue or profit opportunities through business and strategic analysis
Leverage insights from other COEs in the department and assist divisional teams with business asks
Lead presentation of business analysis results and recommendations to senior management and key business stakeholders
Manage and provide direction to team (Manager & Analysts), including development of analytical skills and validation of analysis and results
Manage the design and implementation of an analytical framework to respond to key business issues and business projects
Collaborate with data experts (internal and external resources) to build and extract appropriate and accurate data sets to support complex analyses of business results
Complete and oversee statistical analysis to ensure reliability of analyses and credibility and viability of conclusions and recommendations presented to management and business stakeholders

What You'll Need:
University degree in Business/Economics
5+ years experience in retail/analytics
Experience managing and developing team of managers & analysts
Experience working in a retail or data rich (i.e. loyalty program)
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication, process and presentation skills
Excellent MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to effectively communicate issues, actively engage and influence and work collaboratively as a team member
Ability to interpret and present results (both written and verbal) in an engaging, meaningful ways;
A creative thinker who is comfortable working with ambiguity, ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and work in a fast paced environment
Provides solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required
Knowledge in financial analysis and modelling; ability to build financial business cases for the purpose of providing recommendations and hi-lighting financial implications
Experience working on and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
