Summary
The Engineering Technician will support the Engineering team by assisting with technical tasks related to
equipment installations, maintenance activities, documentation, and project execution. This is an entry-level role
intended to provide hands-on learning opportunities in an industrial manufacturing environment. The technician will
report to the Engineering Team Leader and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams at FGF facilities.

Primary Responsibilities
-
Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostics under the guidance of senior team members.

Participate in equipment performance evaluations and data collection for analysis.

Provide hands-on support for small improvement projects and modifications.

Maintain tool organization and inventory for the engineering workspace.

Work closely with production and maintenance teams to capture and resolve technical issues on the floor.

Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide accurate technical inputs

Assist senior engineers with the planning, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality regulations at all times.

Assist in the safe lifting, positioning, and moving of heavy equipment and components using appropriate tools
such as hoists, dollies, forklifts, and cranes.
Required Experience
-
Degree or Diploma certification in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering Technology.

Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.

Effective communication and documentation skills.

Ability to follow safety protocols and work under supervision.

Ability to read technical drawings and interpret basic schematics.

Role requires a vehicle to support various company site facilities

Flexibility to work rotational shifts/weekends based on the company business needs.
