Hotel Maintenance Worker - Contract - Full Time

This role will be responsible for many aspects of the day to day operations of the maintenance department. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to respond and action demand service requests, execute preventative maintenance work and to maintain and service the pools and tubs on resort.

This is a contract position beginning immediately and ending in April 2020.


Hourly rate of $20.50

General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings
Basic Electrical
Basic Plumbing
General Carpentry
Pool & Hot Tub maintenance
Clean, adjust and perform minor repairs to swimming pools and hot tubs
Painting, wallpapering, tiling
Enhancing the guest experience by representing Blue Mountain Resorts with a courteous and customer service centered demeanor at all times


General knowledge and experience
Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification an asset
On-site construction experience an asset
Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
Basic Computer/Typing skills
Work experience in commercial and residential painting, wallpapering, ceramic tile application, drywall installation, drywall patching, stucco, stipple, and fine wood finishing or refinishing an asset
