Registered Physiotherapist
Location: Alliston Medical Clinic – Alliston, Ontario
Position Type: Hourly-Paid Position
Compensation: $50–$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview
Alliston Medical Clinic is seeking a professional, motivated, and patient-focused Registered Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and evidence-based treatments to help patients reduce pain, restore mobility, recover from injuries, and improve their overall physical function.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, rehabilitation programs, and appropriate treatment modalities.
- Treat patients with musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, mobility limitations, post-surgical conditions, and other physical impairments.
- Educate patients about injury prevention, posture, home exercises, and long-term condition management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely clinical notes.
- Complete assessment reports and other required clinical documentation.
- Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals when required.
- Collaborate with other practitioners and clinic staff to provide coordinated patient care.
- Follow all professional, ethical, privacy, infection-control, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
- Valid professional liability insurance.
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred.
- Experience working with extended health insurance, motor vehicle accident, and workplace injury patients is an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Professional, dependable, organized, and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
