Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.

What you'll do:
The Product Manager drives the product vision and roadmap in order to help the team deliver innovative, trusted, and reliable land-related solutions to support the economy in the public interest. On assignment as a key member of a team delivering the multi-year First Nations Land Governance Registry (FNLGR) initiative, the Product Manager will report to the Director, Project Management. As the initiative evolves to an operational phase, it is envisioned the reporting structure and associated assignments will shift to include other products across LandSure’s portfolio of solutions supporting the real property market.
As an integral part of the project’s leadership trifecta, including the Project Manager and Technical Delivery Lead, you are responsible for developing, maintaining and communicating the product vision and roadmap developed through building strong relationships with customers, excellent and frequent communication with stakeholders, and by looking ahead to see and plan for what’s coming. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to thrive at collaborating with the delivery trifecta while working closely with customers, stakeholders, and Product Owners to understand and communicate customer and stakeholder value to continually improve our products.
Key responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and communicates the product vision and roadmap to show how value is delivered via features, functionality and enhancements
- Develops required business cases and associated cost and revenue models
- Ensures accurate business/system requirements and specifications are created and communicated and are fit for business
- Ensures the system is compliant against functional and non-functional requirements
- Works with legal, security and compliance professionals to ensure product lines meet all necessary requirements
- Builds relationships with stakeholders to drive buy-in on product direction, manage within constraints, and address customer feedback
- Maintains and adjusts the product vision and roadmap in response to changing business and customer needs
- Collaborates across the product team to build the product and solution that delivers value to customers
- Ensures the solution is whole and complete from the customer’s perspective
- Working within an agile SCRUM framework, defines major epics and releases including new features, architecture, and allocations for technical debt
- Working with Software Architects, ensures enabler work is sequenced into other feature development to drive uninterrupted flow
- Continually explores customers’ thinking and needs, analyzes user business processes, and communicates these to the product team
- Promotes upcoming changes with stakeholder groups to ensure they are fully aware and prepared
- Measures and ensures stakeholder satisfaction with all aspects of the solution through continuous contact with relevant stakeholders
- Helps customer support teams manage the product and create features that help improve support functions
- Participates in broader Product Management team activities, including the Product Manager Community of Practice, to support alignment across initiatives and product roadmaps

Education and Experience
- A business or technical degree with 5-7 years of experience realizing and maintaining technology solutions in a product-focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to effectively translate business strategy into product strategy and customer-focused roadmap
- Formal understanding of the development cycle, agile frameworks, and how to manage a software roadmap
- Experience with Geospatial solutions, SaaS, regulated environments and agile development is ideal
- Experience in land management, surveying or property conveyancing processes, especially serving Indigenous communities, would be an asset
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
- A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to multiple stakeholders and customer segments
- Knowledge of enterprise geospatial technologies and location-based development patterns is strongly preferred
- Jira and Confluence skills are a strong asset
- Knowledge of business and systems deployments in the public sector is an asset.
We are dedicated to transparency in our hiring process. $98,600- $123,200 annually, reflects a reasonable expectation for pay for the position depending on qualifications and experience. This compensation is specific to the role within our organization and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to job-related skills, experience and relevant training or education, business and organizational needs.
