Job Description:
We are looking for a licensed and experienced Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation clinic. The ideal candidate will provide individual therapy to clients experiencing a variety of mental health and emotional concerns, while working collaboratively with our physiotherapy, chiropractic, and massage therapy teams.
Experience working with motor vehicle accident (MVA) patients, and refugee clients patients is considered an asset. The successful candidate should have strong clinical and communication skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to support clients throughout their rehabilitation and recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual psychotherapy and mental health support to clients.
- Assess clients' emotional and psychological needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Work with MVA, and refugee, clients as applicable.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare providers.
- Provide compassionate, client-centred care in a professional clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory college.
- Experience providing individual psychotherapy.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills.
- Experience with MVA, refugee, and EHC clients is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinic.
