Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated Sheet Metal Duct Worker Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the sheet metal trade while working on commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with installation of HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret shop drawings and installation layouts
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install sheet metal duct
- Install hangers, supports, dampers, diffusers, and grilles
- Operate power tools and sheet metal equipment safely
- Load, unload, and organize materials
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations
Qualifications
- Registered Apprentice
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to read measuring tape accurately
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
