Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure timely service for customers
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen operations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
- Familiarity with serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
- Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to evolving menu offerings

Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
