Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in skid steers. This role involves supporting various construction projects by operating a skid steer safely and efficiently, ensuring project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steers
- Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, and material handling to support ongoing projects.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas throughout the job site.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating skid steers in a construction setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy loads as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
