Summary
We are seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement to support our company's mission of delivering reliable electro-mechanical solutions. You’ll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow and scheduling, ensure quality control on repairs, and keep the shop running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop operations and technician workload
- Prepare quotations and estimates for upcoming service requests
- Oversee motor rewinding, repair, and testing to ensure quality standards
- Manage scheduling, job priorities, and turnaround times
- Enforce shop safety practices and CSA compliance standards
- Liaise with customers on repair status and technical questions
- Manage parts/inventory needs with suppliers
Qualifications
- Experience in the electric motor service/repair industry is required
- Prior supervisory or lead-hand experience an asset
- Knowledge of motor testing, balancing, and alignment procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour
