Working in a residential treatment home supporting adolescent males between the ages of 12-17 who have displayed problematic specialized behaviours.
Providing normalized experiences, healthy relationships, documentation/ reporting, challenging thinking errors, providing treatment strategies - identification of triggers, behavioural cycles, victim awareness, safety planning, understanding emotional regulation and development of healthy management skills just to name a few. Provision of basic needs, education and knowledge enhancement of day to day functioning through social skills development, recreation and life skills programs.
