Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team with at least 4 years of automotive experience. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience in general automotive repair. This role requires the ability to diagnose issues, perform repairs while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be involved in other departments of our operation and will be provided with inhouse training as required. Having your own tools will be an asset.
Duties
- You will be involved in the replacement of regular and custom exhaust components. Welding skills will be required for this task.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations along with installation & balancing of tires and tire repairs.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely such as blasting equipment for fuel tank and radiator repairs.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Communicate with operation manager regarding vehicle issues and repairs required.
- Collaborate with team members to improve work flow in other departments of the operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Repair person with 4 years experience, mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on a variety of vehicles.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
- Proficient in using power tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 42.50 per week
