Overview
We are seeking a dedicated HVAC Technician/Labourer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, and appliance repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, as well as supporting various construction and mechanical projects. This position is ideal for those eager to develop their skills in gas-fitting, heating and air conditioning systems.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
- Perform maintenance on heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
- Assist with plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs
- Operate mechanical tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with appliance repair tasks related to HVAC components
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving HVAC infrastructure
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in HVAC systems, mechanical maintenance, or related fields is a bonus but not necessary
- Mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of appliances and general construction practices
- Prior mechanic experience or hands-on work in maintenance or construction preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and working in confined spaces
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to HVAC or mechanical work are a plus
- Driver license with cleaning driving record

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
