We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team full-time at YVR Airport in Vancouver, BC. Position Overview
The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for leading electrical crews on-site, coordinating daily activities, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintaining a high standard of quality. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate a team, communicate effectively, solve problems in the field, and represent the company professionally.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support electrical crews on-site.
- Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, materials, and project priorities.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Ensure work is completed according to code, project requirements, company standards, and client expectations.
- Maintain a safe and organized job site in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, site supervisors, clients, inspectors, trades, and team members.
- Monitor productivity, quality, and progress to help keep projects on schedule.
- Identify and resolve site issues, conflicts, or deficiencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Mentor apprentices and junior electricians to support their growth and development.
- Assist with material ordering, planning, scheduling, and coordination as required.
- Complete required documentation, reports, timesheets, safety paperwork, and job-site records.
- Promote a positive, professional, and team-focused work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification.
- Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Hand, or senior electrician in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and WorkSafe safety regulations.
- Experience working on commercial, industrial, institutional, or airport-related projects is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate crews, materials, schedules, and site requirements effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in the field.
- Use tools like Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professional workmanship.
- Ability to pass any required airport/site security clearance or background checks.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
