About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Fabricator / Fitter with 6+ years of experience in fitting and welding primarily structural fitting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Fabricate and assemble structural components (beams, stairs, guardrails, etc.).
- Weld using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-core on carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum.
- Operate fabrication tools: saws, shear, brake, grinders, drill press, torch cutter.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and safety in all work.
- Collaborate with team to meet project requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of proven experience as a Fabricator/Fitter.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fitting and welding techniques.
- Proficiency in welding methods (TIG, MIG, Stick, FCAW).
- Ability to read and interpret structural/fabrication drawings.
- CWB certification (or equivalent) is an asset.
