Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic, full time, permanent Clean Sweep Program Manager to lead our comprehensive cleaning and sanitation initiatives across multiple locations. The Clean Sweep Program Manager is responsible for assisting the DBRZ Executive Director with the implementation of the Clean Sweep, Hotspot program, Needle Debris Collection, and other Fee-For-Service contracts. The program seeks to positively contribute to a clean, safe, and vibrant city with specific attention to Downtown Lethbridge. This role is vital in ensuring that the Downtown and other areas remain safe and hygienic. As a key leader, you will oversee the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of cleaning routes, leveraging your expertise in project management methodologies and team leadership to drive operational excellence. Your energetic approach and commitment to quality will inspire teams and stakeholders alike to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Responsibilities
Manage and train a team of three foremen.
Oversee scheduling and training of foremen and stipend volunteers.
Ensure the programs are adequately staffed with stipend volunteers and actively seek new volunteers to join the program.
Provide a monthly training opportunity to all stipend volunteers.
Serve as the primary contact for information and communications as it relates to the CSP and its programs.
Ensure all CSP equipment and vehicles are maintained serviced and stocked.
Work closely with other social service agencies and the ICA network to ensure services are available to stipend volunteers (including support to find housing, food, etc.).
Work closely with the business community to develop relationships between the CSP, the DBRZ and business owners.
Submit monthly reports to the City of Lethbridge Community Social Development (CSD) department.
Attend CSD meetings (weekly, bi weekly, monthly).
Attend meetings with local organizations that support efforts within our community.
Meet regularly with the DBRZ Executive Director to provide updates on the status of programs and work to expand and grow programs.
Increase awareness of programs throughout the community through various means (meetings, local media, social media).
Maintain an understanding of Health and Safety. The CSP manager assumes the role of Health and Safety Coordinator for the DBRZ.
Maintain a current First Aid/CPR certificate.
Fill in for Foremen on sick days, vacations and as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field is considered an asset (Social Work, Business, Related trades).
Knowledge and/or experience of the current social issues in Lethbridge and the ability to be an advocate for the program and its individuals.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) and the ability to network and build community connections. self starter with ability to identify and solve problems

Pay: $50,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
