Responsibilities-
Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage the inventory over our 3 locations (Manitoba and Ontario).
- The Inventory Controller reports directly to the General Manager and works with the Parts Managers to maintain a clean and accurate inventory of all parts.
- Responsible for updating parts inventory computer records.
- Data entry for parts received by the shipper/receiver into the Proceed system.
- Order parts from various vendors both locally and internationally.
- Work with the shipping department to authorize invoices for payment by reconciling packing slips to invoices and ensuring received parts are charged out correctly.
- Process and submit claims to various vendor supply depots for errors in parts received (short shipments, pricing errors, receiving damaged or incorrect parts).
- Forecast future inventory needs.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Conduct random audits to match physical inventory counts to computer records and to investigate any discrepancies.
- Conduct annual inventory counts when needed.
- Follow up with vendors on outstanding credits.
- Provide general support to the parts department personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Accountabilities:
- Communicate with the accounting clerk and parts personnel in a professional and courteous manner.
- Participate in all mandatory parts meetings and attend all training as required.
- Communicate with customers and vendors in a professional and respectful manner.
- Assist General Manager and Parts Manager with duties as requested or required.

- Must have 2-5 years’ of industry related experience

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
