Based in our Calgary office, the role is a permanent full-time position and requires someone who has Corrosion Engineer experience and/or background.

The main purpose of the role will be to:
Perform corrosion assessments and/or provide solutions to requests from clients related to corrosion, material, and metallurgy in general
Perform complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solution based on client needs and requirements
Prepare, discuss, and present deliverables to client, lead client meetings, and can suggest alternate solutions where appropriate
To undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project performance against budget and contract requirements.
Travel will be required to the client site twice during the project

You will have:
Canadian Oil Sands experience in mining and upgrading is required
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Materials Engineering (10 to 15 years’ experience)
Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience to demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the relevant specialist requirements, knowledge and application.
Familiarity with energy industry equipment and basic operating functions
Basic understanding of inspection methods/techniques
Proficiency in the English Language commensurate with the work is preferred
