Job Overview
We are seeking a cafe team member to fill a part-time position at our North Vancouver cafe.
The position is 2-3 days per week and would include Monday, Wednesday, and some weekend shifts to cover time off etc.
Responsibilities
- Preparing espresso based drinks
- Serving customers and operating the point of sale
- Advising cutomers on coffee bean purchases and home brew methods
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace - bussing tables, doing dishes, etc.
- Opening and closing the cafe
- Baking/baking prep
Skills
- Barista experience is required
- Good communicator
- Customer service skills
- Organized
- Eye for detail
We offer a starting wage of $18.75/hr plus tips.
Those who complete 6 months of 24 hour per week employment will be eligible for our health benefits program.
We also offer free coffee beans to take home, free coffee on shift, as well as food discounts.
