Job Title: Registered Nurse Practitioner - ADHD
Job Description: ADHD mental health practice seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Nurse Practitioner to join our team and support adults seeking an ADHD assessment. This role involves completing an intake interview to determine eligibility for assessment, followed by a diagnostic assessment conducted virtually. The Nurse Practitioner will be supported by Master’s-level clinicians and/or registered clinicians who assist with screening, testing, intakes, report delivery, and treatment options. This collaborative position may evolve based on the candidate's expertise and lens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review initial assessment findings on questionnaires such as the ASRS, WSR II, WFIRS-S, and screening/referral forms completed by the clinic.
- Review intake report and medical history prior to diagnostic assessment.
- Complete diagnostic assessment for ADHD in an online interview format.
- Complete a report summarizing findings and next steps for the client.
- Collaborate with mental health clinicians to support client care, resources, and next steps post-assessment.
Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with ADHD and Autistic populations.
- Additional training in mental health and ADHD diagnostic processes.
- Previous experience in mental health.
- Commitment to practicing with an anti-oppressive and inclusive lens.
