Dutil Denim, a leader in luxury denim, is seeking a highly skilled Denim Tailor / Specialist for our Vancouver location. The ideal candidate will have experience in garment alterations, repairs, and custom tailoring, with a focus on denim.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform waist adjustments, inseam and outseam tapers, and hem modifications (Euro hem, chain stitch hem).
- Repair pockets, belt loops, crotch areas, knees, and apply patches.
- Replace buttons, including creating buttonholes if necessary.
- Ensure high-quality, precise alterations for all customers.
- Work efficiently to meet deadlines, including rush orders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in tailoring, with an emphasis on denim.
- Skilled in using sewing machines and hand sewing.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Ability to communicate well with customers to ensure alterations meet expectations.
