Arun Eye Care is looking for a motivated, patient-focused Clinical Optometric Assistant to support our specialty eye care services.
This is primarily a clinical and patient-care role, with limited administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- perform and assist with dry eye treatments
- conduct visual field testing and other diagnostic testing
- assist with patient work up and clinical testing
- take optical measurements and assist in eyewear dispensing
- provide patient education and instructions for treatments and therapies
- collect payments and assist with checking out
- clinic administration: scheduling, recalls, referrals, billing support, and general office coordination
- operational support: fax and document management, inventory tracking, order processing, and workflow coordination.
- answer phones and assist with scheduling as needed
Preferred qualifications:
- experience in optometry, opthalmology, or other allied health care
- experience with diagnostic testing or patient care
- experience with eyewear dispensing and optical measurements
Schedule:
- 10-20 hours per week
- 1-3 clinic days per week
- additional hours may become available as specialty services continue to grow
Pay: $18.60-$24.00 per hour
