Job description
We install passive fire suppressant systems in fire rated and acoustic assemblies. This application is a life-safety and specialty construction discipline. All employees will be provided training through certified suppliers such as Hilti as well as on site training.
Responsibilities:
Install caulking around electrical and mechanical penetrations.
Install collars and other firestop product where applicable.
Communicate regularly with field supervisor for quality assurance and control
Work independent with minimal supervision after successfully completing 3 months of training.
Requirements:
Experience in construction is an asset.
Experience in handling basic hand tools such as drills, caulking guns etc.
Basic knowledge in reading and understanding shop drawings is an asset
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable daily transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
