We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Grade 8 Science Tutor to provide personalized, in-person tutoring services to middle school students in Vancouver. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' academic success while fostering their curiosity and understanding of scientific concepts.
- Deliver engaging one-on-one or small group science tutoring sessions for Grade 8 students

Assess individual student learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly

Develop customized lesson plans aligned with BC Grade 8 science curriculum standards

Explain complex scientific concepts in clear, age-appropriate language

Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Maintain detailed records of tutoring sessions and student advancement
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or related field

Minimum 3 years of experience tutoring or teaching middle school students

Strong knowledge of Grade 8 science curriculum including biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science
