West Edmonton business is looking for a long-term, part-time employee to join our team. This order picker/shipping helper plays an important role in the fast paced shipping/receiving department.
Duties
- Maintain an organized workstation
- Attention to detail a must
- Follow directions
- Work with a team
- Work well under pressure
- Picking customer orders
- Double checking orders
- Packing orders
- Lifting up to 80lbs
- Standing for long period of time
- Assisting customers as required
- Clean work areas
- Comply with company safe-work practices & procedures
- Various tasks as required
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Daytime availability required
- Min 1 yr shipping/receiving experience preferred
- Strong work ethic required
- Basic computer skills
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Time management skills
- Read/write English clearly
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Steel toed boots
Part time Monday-Friday between 8:00am - 5:00pm
Flexibility in schedule, approx. 20-25 hr/wk
We will provide training. Successful candidate must be willing to follow procedures currently in place and ask questions when necessary.
