The Mackenzie Institutional Services team is accepting applications for the position of an Analyst role based in Toronto, Ontario.
The successful candidate will:
Responsible for regular client reporting across a segment of institutional clients
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of client records and associated data
Facilitate and prepare materials for client meetings including due diligence reviews
Liaise with product, sales and marketing stakeholders to ensure the timely and relevant production of presentations and meeting materials to support Mackenzie’s institutional business
Liaise with all appropriate stakeholders including operations, compliance and product teams to ensure requests are completed on time and of high quality
Update consultant databases such as eVestment and prepare reports to support the institutional sales team.
Project and administrative functions as assigned
Provide support for other team members across functions such as RFP preparation
The following qualifications are required of the successful candidate:
Post secondary education degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the investment management industry; experience with institutional investment services considered an asset
Exceptional research and analytical skills with a strong aptitude for numeric analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through capabilities with the ability to schedule, plan and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities
Strong ability to work effectively under pressure and within a distributed team environment across different office locations
Advanced PC skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Sound working knowledge of eVestment’s suite of analytics tools considered an asset
Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail is a strict requirement for this position
