Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and repair, with excellent customer service skills. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle maintenance and repair needs while ensuring a seamless service experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs to customers.
- Upsell additional services and products based on customer needs and vehicle condition.
- Prepare accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services.
- Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions, service orders, and invoices.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and dealership policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive dealership or service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto estimating and service writing processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining customer trust.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
- Experience in cash handling and sales within an automotive context is a plus.
