Sara Sakina Inc. is hiring a sales associate for our store at Oakville Place, Unit 242, right across from Sephora. This is a part-time or full-time spot on our fragrance and lifestyle team.
Here's what you'd actually be doing day to day: greeting customers when they walk in, learning our product line well enough to make real recommendations (we carry Arabian fragrances, home decor, and gift items), running the cash register and POS system, keeping shelves stocked and displays looking sharp, and generally keeping the store clean and organized. Over time, a big part of the job is building up your own base of repeat customers who come back and ask for you by name.
We're looking for someone who shows up on time, takes pride in customer interactions, and isn't afraid to learn the product line inside and out. If you've got a competitive streak and like the idea of working toward commission, that's a good sign this role is for you.
On pay: you start at Ontario minimum wage. We do quarterly reviews and give raises based on performance and how long you've been with us. After 30 to 90 days, depending on how things are going, you may be moved onto a commission structure, though that needs manager approval and isn't automatic. This isn't a fixed-commission role on day one. Your pay grows as you grow into the role and build up your customer relationships.
This role suits people who are motivated by growth. We're not looking for clock-watchers. We want someone who sees this as a real job where effort actually pays off.
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
